One price, paid once
s1ft costs $19, one time. That single license is yours for life and includes every future version of the app.
There is no subscription, no renewal date, and no per-meeting fee. You pay once and you’re done.
The app itself is free to download from s1ft.app, so you can try it before you decide.
What’s included
Everything below runs on your Mac and costs nothing beyond the one-time license — during your 14-day trial and for as long as you use s1ft after it:
- Audio recording (microphone + system audio)
- On-device transcription via WhisperKit
- Local storage of all your recordings and transcripts
- AI summaries with your own provider. s1ft sends your transcript directly from your Mac to the AI provider you choose: Anthropic or OpenAI using your own API key, or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. s1ft doesn’t add anything on top. Whatever your provider charges (or doesn’t, for local models) is between you and them.
What the $19 license covers
The license unlocks s1ft for lifetime use on your Mac. It’s a one-time purchase, not a plan:
- Lifetime. No expiry, no renewal.
- Every version. Future updates are included at no extra cost.
- No usage limits. Record as many meetings as you like.
You can buy a license at any point, during the trial or after it. The key arrives by email at the address you use at checkout — see Trial & license activation for how to paste it into the app.
How payment works
Purchases are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for s1ft. In practice that means:
- Paddle appears as the seller on your receipt and on your card or bank statement.
- Paddle collects any VAT, GST, or sales tax that applies to your country at checkout.
- Paddle handles your card details. s1ft never sees or stores them.
After payment, Paddle emails a receipt and s1ft emails your license key to the address you used at checkout. Keep that email. If you can’t find it, write to [email protected] from the same address and we’ll resend it.
Refunds
Every license purchase is refundable in full within 14 days, no questions asked. Email [email protected], and we pass the request on to Paddle the same day. The money goes back to the payment method you used at checkout, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

Common questions
Is there a subscription option? No. s1ft is a one-time purchase. Nothing is billed to you again.
Do I pay per meeting? No. s1ft doesn’t charge per meeting, per minute, or per month. If you use a paid AI provider for summaries, that provider bills you directly at their own rates. Local models cost nothing.
Which currency is the price in? The license is priced in US dollars. Any tax for your country is added by Paddle at checkout.
